Hiiiii 👋🏼 long time no see here on my feed. It’s been a busy summer road tripping through all the mountains of Norway all the way up to Lofoten in the Arctic!
We’ve been here for over a month now and not going to lie, it’s freeezing 🥶and has me thinking of warmer days down in ☀️ Hemsedal where we spent our days making flower crowns, chasing waterfalls, hiking the mountain tops, swimming in lakes and jumping into glacial rivers (okay that was also freezing 🙊)
While this summer has been one wild ride, one thing that’s been constant on the adventure is my beautiful new @ethnasia_jewelry I have barely taken off their awesome rings since I received them a few months ago and I am in love with the boho style of this small business from Greece 😍
I don’t promote much on here but seriously, if you’re searching for some beautifully made boho jewellery, I highly recommend you check them out and support an independent artist.
That’s it for my quick update after months of silence (I swear I do more than ski for anyone who may be new here) but I promise to post some more photos soon!!! I can’t keep these incredible peaks to myself forever 😍

Would you stay in a Wilderness Lavvo?
If you caught my stories a couple of weeks ago you would probably already know how much fun @jack_m_wood_photography and I had at @dagali_fjellpark and sleeping in one of their beautiful Lavvos.
We spend the morning carving up the slopes with our downhill skis before swapping them out for the countless cross country tracks surrounding the area which led right to the door of our cosy Lavvo.
After enjoying some local tea which was foraged from the surrounding woods, heading into the sauna was the perfect end to a perfect day - and I’m sure my muscles were thanking me!
Dagali is also home to the longest sled run in Norway!! Sadly there was too much snow (did you ever think you’d here me say that?) for us to have a go on this trip but it’s just another reason to go back!
If you think the Lavvo looks cold from the outside, you’ll be happy to know that they are actually super warm! (Electric heating for the win!) With power, hot and cold water, tea, coffee and candles, you’ve got the perfect hygge getaway 🥰 ⛺️

This week we ventured across the lake into Halling

This week we ventured across the lake into Hallingskarvet National Park and I have two words for it... POWDER BOWLS! ❄️❄️❄️⁠⠀
⁠⠀
The mountains aren't too tall but because of their shapes, the snow blows in and stays there. 😍 With bowl after bowl, you can ski here all day and because of its location, you'll be competing with no one but your own tracks.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
The only downside? It's a 30min ski tour across the frozen lake to reach this powder paradise, and I hate touring on the flat 🙈⁠⠀

Anyone have any tips to make skinning across the lake more enjoyable? I always feel like the other side is getting further away. 😂 ⁠⠀

Just me and my millions of layers 🤣 If you're in the US/Canada you've probably been experiencing the winter vortex which has been bringing INCREDIBLY cold conditions to the mountains. Here in Norway, we have had daily highs of -20 for a couple of weeks now and it's safe to say that my feet are hating being in ski boots.⁠ 🥶🎿⁠⠀

I've found that no matter what I do, my feet always end up turning into feelingless iceblocks. If you've ever tried skiing when you can't feel your feet, you will know that it's incredibly challenging. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
⁠My #1 tip for anyone who suffers from cold feet whilst ski touring is to scrunch your toes with every step. It won't instantly bring them back to life but if you persist for at least 10 mins, you will prevent them from getting too bad and eventually you'll be able to bring them back to a normal temperature. ⁠⠀
